Whop Affiliates: Earn 30% Referring Products on Whop
Whop Affiliates is a different way to earn on Whop from clipping. Instead of getting paid per 1,000 views for a clip, you get paid a share when someone buys a product through your referral link. There are two programs: buyer affiliates, who refer buyers to products, and Partners, who refer businesses to Whop itself. This page explains both, with the honest math on what each one actually pays.
Whop Affiliates (buyer affiliates): 30% by default
Every product on Whop has an affiliate program by default at 30% commission. As a buyer affiliate, you earn 30% by default on every purchase made through your referral link, set by the seller, who can raise or lower it and set global versus member rates and one-time versus recurring. Recurring is the default on subscriptions, so a subscription you refer keeps paying as long as the buyer stays subscribed. The attribution cookie is 30 days by default. There is a 30-day waiting period before the commission lands, because refunds, disputes and fraud forfeit it, and a 1.25% affiliate processing fee per transaction. You must be 18 or older, your account must be in good standing, and your application must be approved by Whop.
How to get a link: create a Whop account, go to the dashboard, open Affiliates, then Affiliate Marketplace, browse by industry, commission and earnings-per-click, click “Become affiliate”, then “View assets”, and copy the link. For whops you are already a member of, go to Affiliates, then Refer buyers, then View assets. The marketplace shows real earnings-per-click data, which is how you pick winners instead of guessing. Pick products your audience already wants, in the niche you clip in, and disclose the link every time. The link below goes to Whop’s homepage, not to a tracking link, because Ace has not been approved for the Whop Affiliates program yet. When approval lands, the tracking link will replace it.

Start at Whop’s homepage, create an account, and open Affiliates in the dashboard to find the Marketplace. Do not use any other site’s “Whop affiliate link” — the link must come from your own Whop dashboard.
Whop Partners: up to 30% of Whop’s profit
Whop Partners is the second program, and it has the highest ceiling and the slowest payoff. You refer a business to Whop, and you earn up to 30% of Whop’s gross profit from that business, recurring for as long as they sell, plus 1% of their Whop Ads spend, plus second-tier commissions when a partner you refer brings in a business. Partners have earned $10 million or more in total to date, per Whop.
Here is the honest math you must state if you promote this: Whop’s gross profit is its card fee, about 3% of sales, so 30% of that is roughly 0.9% of the referred business’s sales volume. A business doing $10,000 a month in sales earns you about $90 a month. A business doing $100,000 a month earns you about $900 a month. It only adds up when the business does real revenue, which is why Partners is a slow program for a beginner and a strong one for someone who already knows businesses that should be on Whop. Apply at Whop’s Partners page, and once approved you get a link in the form whop.com/start/ followed by your affiliate code, plus a manual referral form asking for the business name, website, estimated revenue, and owner email.

Apply at Whop’s Partners page. Read the terms it shows before you refer anyone, and do not promise a business a rate Whop has not confirmed for you.
How this fits the clipping business
Whop Affiliates is the best first referral program for a clipper because every product on Whop is promotable, you need no product of your own, the commission is recurring, and the marketplace shows real earnings-per-click data. It is still post-50-day income, not fast money. It needs search traffic first, typically 60 to 90 days to rank, then clicks, then purchases, then a 30-day hold. The $1,000-by-December-27 goal still runs on per-view campaign pay and direct retainers. This site, and the Whop Affiliates links on it, are the compounding layer after that.
Do not confuse the three Whop programs. Content Rewards pays you per view for clips. Affiliates pays you a share when someone buys through your link. Partners pays you a share of Whop’s profit when a business you refer sells on Whop. They are three different programs, with three different links, and three different disclosures. If a page mixes them up, it is not a page you should trust.
Picking products in the Marketplace
Do not promote the product with the highest commission. Promote the product with the highest earnings per click in your niche. Whop’s Affiliate Marketplace shows earnings-per-click data, which is the number that matters: how much, on average, you earn for each person who clicks your link. A product at 30% commission with 10 clicks a month earns less than a product at 15% with 1,000 clicks a month, because the second product is one your audience actually wants. Pick products your clip audience already asks about: the tool in the clip, the course the guest mentioned, the community the creator runs. If you would not recommend it without the commission, do not recommend it with one.
Check three things before you apply to be an affiliate for a product. One, does the seller have a real product with real buyers, and a refund policy that is not a trap? A product with a high refund rate will forfeit your commission, because the 30-day wait exists to catch refunds, disputes and fraud. Two, does the seller set a global rate or a member rate, and is it one-time or recurring? Recurring is worth far more than one-time for a subscription, because it keeps paying as long as the buyer stays. Three, does the product fit the niche you clip in? A finance audience will buy a trading community. It will not buy a gaming skin pack, however high the commission is. Fit beats rate, every time.
Disclose every time, in the same words, before the link. The FTC requires it, Whop’s own Earnings Terms require it, and your audience requires it in a different way: if they find out you were paid and you did not say so, they stop trusting the next link, and the next clip, and the next recommendation. Trust is the only asset an affiliate has. A disclosure does not cost you clicks. Hiding a commission costs you the audience.
Track affiliate income separately from campaign income. Campaign income is per-view pay for work you did. Affiliate income is a share of a purchase someone made through your link. They have different hold periods, different minimums, and different tax treatment, and mixing them up in one sheet will make your profit and loss wrong. Keep two columns, two totals, and two goals. The campaign column is the fast money. The affiliate column is the compounding money. Both matter, and neither is the other.
Start with one product
Start with one product, in your niche, that your audience already asks about. Apply to be its affiliate, read its terms, and put one disclosed link on one page. Track clicks and purchases for a month before you add a second product. An affiliate program with one product you believe in will earn more than a page with ten products you have never used, because your audience can tell the difference. Trust is the asset. The commission is just the receipt for it.
